Swearing

Happy to be sworn in, our hero poses for the camera.  Look at that grin, ear to ear.  Ready to go get'em. Wonder how he feels 10 days later.  I know we will hear all about it ... eventually. Clear sailing son.

BOLDNESS

I have a quote that I keep taped to the inside of my medicine cabinet mirror.  I try to read it every morning.  It is by the late 18th century German writer Goethe.  Today it made me think of you and I thought I would share it.

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and MAGIC in it." 

May your time in the Navy be filled with BOLDNESS. And especially MAGIC.
